About Us

Logika Technologies, headquartered in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, was started over 15 years ago by a group of industry specialists with deep technical backgrounds in optical sensors and camera systems for the metals industry. Our initial strategy was to supply top-quality value-driven optical sensors to the metals and other heavy industries for use in extreme conditions.

Our product line has expanded to cover cameras for furnaces in the rolling mills and then for the melt shop. Our focus today is to continue to innovate our product lines while also expanding into providing image processing and intelligent machine vision solutions, not only for the metals industry but also for industries that operate with extreme environments, including heat treating, glass, cement, and power generation…

Early on, we learned that our customers do not need yet another sensor manufacturer simply selling “off-the-shelf” optical sensors. We have come to understand that they need complete solutions to complex problems which ultimately allow them to improve quality, operational efficiency, and safety in day-to-day operations. 

Logika Technologies offers a three-part value proposition in providing solutions to our customers. Any one of the three parts on its own would be considered beneficial or impactful in solving a given problem. However, it is not until all three components are engineered and delivered together that a truly valuable solution, unique to extreme industrial environments, is created.

 To achieve this solution, Logika provides:

• State-of-the-art optics and electronics to see and measure the required process critical variables repeatedly and accurately.
• The environmental protection, or armour plating, to house the electronics and optics so that they operate and survive in the given hostile environment with a minimal amount of maintenance required.
• The Application Engineering Support before, during, and after installation to ensure that the sensors and cameras are designed, installed, and fine tuned to provide the best overall solution.
